He is using a short blue lashing strap for around his wrists, ropes and a blanket.
The loop in the rope attached to his feet will 'close' the lashing strap around his wrists.

And then he rolled himself in the red blanket.
On the first picture the blanket is in the right position.
The second picture shows what is inside.

Do add a gag and/or japanese titclamps (extra 'nice' when you roll).
